Are You Micromanaging ?

Many leaders don’t even know that they are micromanaging.

Today I bring a simple checklist for you to find out if you are micromanaging your team.

👉 Here are some indicators that tell you might be micromanaging:

1. You find it hard to delegate tasks and often end up doing things yourself.

2. You frequently check in on your team members, ask for frequent updates, and closely monitor every detail of their work.

3. You focus excessively on minor details rather than the bigger picture and strategic goals.

4. You often feel that you can’t trust your team to complete tasks correctly without your direct involvement.

5. Your team members frequently seek your approval for even minor decisions. They are unable to move forward without your input.

6. You experience high turnover rates in your team.

7. You feel that team members are not bringing new ideas to the table or showing initiative.

8. You insist on redoing work frequently because it doesn’t meet your exact standards.

9. You feel exhausted and overwhelmed by your workload.

10. You provide very detailed instructions for every task.
